Re: [microblaze-uclinux] uCLinux ICAP DRIVER compilation
Dear Mr. Williams,
After some little bit modifications (I intend for writing a tutorial),
I´ve got finally compile and insert the driver. I´ve created and
/dev/icap special file with major 10 and minor 200. The command "cat
/dev/icap" hold the terminal and didn´t return nothing like "no such
device", so i think it´s working well.
I´ve done a test and according to my knowledge it should work, but it
didn´t. The test was to do "cat download.bit > /dev/icap", where
download.bit is the same file the fpga was initially configured. The
command doesn´t finish, but doesn´t crash the system too. Do you think
this behavior is normal ?
In your article about this driver (ICAP), you say you´ve developed a
programa for reading back the content of FPGA. I was wondering if you
could send me this program, so I could validade my system. And it would
be a good reference for implementing other programs.
Very thank you for your support.
Jardel.
