The work we have done so far on PPC is to build a fairly standard MVista 2.4 PPC
kernel (with changes to make it auto-config), inside a uClinux-dist environment.
So, it's still regular linux, with MMU support etc, but the build environment
and flow is the same as you use for uClinuxc on MicroBlaze.
I'm not aware of any efforts to run a uClinux kernel on PPC (e.g. disabling the
MMU etc), although it could be worth asking around on the uclinux-dev list.
