Hello everybody,

I am new in uclinux and I am trying to initializate it with an initial ramdisk. In my board I am using an sdram.

I have used XMD to download my linux image (in address 0x21000000) and my initrd file (in address 0x21A00000) (I have not used a bootloader). In addition to this I have put in the command line the following options:

root=/dev/ram0 initrd=0x21A00000

I have created my initrd file system as explained in "initrd.txt". In my system file I have copied the contents generated in the "romfs" folder. However the following message appears in the initialization:

VFS: tried fs_name = <ext2> err = -22
VFS: tried fs_name = <romfs> err = -22
Kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 01:00

I have tried the same, downloading my initrd file compressed, but the same error happens.

has anybody had similar problems??
