Even the $$$ will not move them. Altera did NIOS because of Virtex/PPC and
Spartan/MB. Having worked with NIOS for a short time I came back to MB even
if I do not currently use uClinux for my customers.

Are you trying to bait someone at Xilinx into doing official support?
Maybe John has some numbers about subscribers on this list. The only way a
company would respond is if they believe it is worth $$$.
