Hi,
I just wanted to suggest some additions for the ML401
tutorial which could be very helpful for getting rid
of kernel compilation errors.
1- user should restart XPS and project after adding
the core with new version to XPS pcores.
2-please mention that first download from CVS in
tutorial (the whole distribution) is 670MB.
and linux kernel is 200MB.
3- user should have copied the toolchain and exported
the new PATH
4- please mention that zlib sohuld have been
downloaded and installed.(and that's great to just say
how to)
5-delete the CVS directory from /images, which makes
the 'make clean' corrupt.
6-It would be great to add the Ethernet core to
tutorial and not to remove it from the netlist and OS.
I faced these in my first test, hope they help.
best regards
A.R.Sadri.
