[microblaze-uclinux] Using auto-config.in to build uClinux for Suzaku SZ130?

I'm moving custom OPB peripherals I've developed a Memec 3SMB1500 to the Suzaku SZ130 board. I've generated a new 'auto-config.in' file using the BSP, but I'm having problems figuring out how to get Suzaku's style of building uClinux to accept it. I've copied the 'auto-config.in' file to the following directory:

uClinux-dist/linux-2.4.x/arch/microblaze/platform/suzaku

I then Return to the top level uClinux-dist directory and do:

make xconfig

In "Vendor/Product Selection  --->"
      Choose "Atmark Techno"
      Choose "SUZAKU-S.SZ130"

In "Kernel/Library/Defaults Selection  --->"
      Choose "uClibc"
      Choose "[*] Default all settings (lose changes)"

Then Save and Quit.

Unfortunately, the following file

uClinux-dist/linux-2.4.x/.config

is not picking up the new entries in the 'auto-config.in' file. I presume that Suzaku is not really using the full uclinux-auto system as this this approach worked previously when building for the Memec dev board that used the Xilinx/uclinux-auto vendor selection. I suspect the 'auto-config.in' files in the Suzaku platform are a red herring.

Does any one know of the steps I should be following to get my own custom IP settings into a Suzaku platform build of uClinux? I guess my back up is to start hand editing the Suzaku files to include my own IP configuration -- Yech!!!

Thanks,

Mike Thompson
