Yep - internally I'm at 2.6.20 now, just working out a few things then 
will have an updated patchset shortly.

The Kconfig.auto that is an attachment on the page I linked to - is what 
you want.

The ethernet driver is not much changed from 2.4 - there is support for 
legacy ethernet drivers, and that's what's in the current 2.6 sources.

I don't expect you'll have a huge amount of work to get your driving 
going under 2.6
