Re: [microblaze-uclinux] Spartan3E board and u-boot question

I tried to use a pre-compiled projet, it was working before but not
now, it's why i suspected the DDR RAM.

When i do the following the with the memory app, i got these result:

-- Allo Entering main() --
Starting MemoryTest for DDR_SDRAM_32Mx16:
 Running 32-bit test...FAILED!
 Running 16-bit test...FAILED!
 Running 8-bit test...FAILED!
-- Exiting main() --

Using the debugger, what should have been write 0x0001 is 0x0101 and so...

Then use of the XMD memory write and read.

I will look at Mr Yin comments and links.

Thank you,

Stephane

XMD%

It seems 32 bits are written a 16 bits

If I were you (and I was :-)) I would try to use pre-compiled project
from Petalogix first. If that works, try the workaround (taking older
core) I've suggested.

I have a very strange operations, i was able previously to run de demo
on the board using the boot-onetime.sh but now it doesnt works who
seems to indicate a bad ddr ram. But using xmd i can write to the ddr
ram and read correctly on the memory test application with a processor
with no cache, then use dow command to run the TestApp_Peripheral
doesnt do anything:

It's seems the DDR is working? I'm very confused.
