RE: [microblaze-uclinux] PetaLinux 0.20, including 2.6.20 kernel

I have been to the Xilinx Xfest by Avnet on Wednesday and according to
the FAE doing the Embedded System presentation 2.6 is still being worked
on. Although they mentioned LynuxWorks (BlueCat Linux) as their partner
for uClinux, the presentation, that should have been shown used
PetaLinux. So Petalogix got a lot of promotion there. Someone mentioned
that LynuxWork has has focus on the american market so that might be the
reason that they featured Petalogix instead. 

Unfortunately the FAE had no idea about Linux (he was not even able
to start Linux on vmware on his computer and needed help by the audience
to log into the prepared uClinux system - he canceled the rest of the
presentation afterwords). He claimed the prepared system to be
2.6-based.

According to LynuxWorks 2.6 will be included into their next  
distribution soon. You can download their current work from
http://www.lynuxworks.com/support/downloads.php, but I have spend the 
last two days with that without any success (I have not used their 
xps-example project, perhaps that would work). So I was very please when
I got John's distribution which worked right out of the box.
