Standard Linux supports the V4/ppc405. A Uartlite driver is in recent
kernel.org linux-2.6 sources.

uClinux is a collection of linux patches, tools and a build environment
for linux on MMUless processors.
the ppc405 has an MMU.

uClinux is linux, it is not a different OS.

It is theoretically possible to run uClinux on a v4/ppc405 and there
might even be a few good reasons to do so,
but they would be the exception rather than the norm.
