Re: [microblaze-uclinux] loadable module support in petalinux kernel 2.6
I had success with loading and unloading modules in the kernel 2.4 version. If you are on a tight deadline it seems that might be your most viable option unless you decide to have a go at completing the patch that Erik provided. It really depends on how much experience you have.

Ok, but I'm really in a tight corner by now !! I'm *very very* adapted to developing device drivers as loadable modules. I've a custom frame buffer driver on Spartan3e microblaze. my frame buffer is attached to OPB as a dual port memory. The microblaze is writing to one port while my custom CRT controller reads from the other port. I need to get Nano-X working on that custom framebuffer. I already have coded my framebuffer driver as a module !! but how to integrate it with the kernel tree by now ????
Please we're very tight on time !! reply quickly !!
