Had an interesting situation this weekend
(which I haven't yet been able to replicate, because I was...inattentive
to the circumstances. I had u-boot running on the Rev D. board using
EDK 9.1.2/ISE 9.1.3. My best guess as to what I did is the following:
Built hardware and software using the
normal procedure... Then, I rebuilded the hardware later, choosing
the NON "mch" version for the DDR memory IP. What I forgot
to do (I think) was recompile the kernel. U-boot booted up and allowed
me to use its command line through the RS-232 port.
Naturally, I don't have any of the config
files. :(

David Stude

I'm on ISE 9.1.3 and EDK 9.1.2. That's probably a Xilinx problem then again
;(
I try to install ISE & EDK 8, and try again ...
