Re: [microblaze-uclinux] PetaLinux and Snmp

Hi John!

At the kernel image is available the snmpd who act as the snmp agent in the fpga board.

At this moment,  I need know how  to start snmpd (agent) who is available at the fpga after upload the image.bin and boot...

I tried to start manually the snmpd with some parameters (as the help show me), but unsucessfully. (snmpd -h 127.0.0.1 -p 161 -c public & ).

Looking for snmp process (with top), its OK, but don't respond to a snmpget command from an other host.

Thank for help or any idea...

I've not worked with SNMP but don't you need some user app to act as the
SNMP agent? I'd search the uclinux-dev archives for SNMP, I think this
has been discussed a lot. I don't believe there will be much (or
anything) MicroBlaze or PetaLinux specific there.

John
