RE: [microblaze-uclinux] Petalogix BSP with XPS 9.2

Hi,
I have exactly the same problem, it looks like a bug in the way TCL
handles integers. I'm still searching for answers.
Do you have any idea when the next release of the BSP tools will be and
if it will definitely have MPMC support?
tOBi.

Hi John,

Thanks for the work-around, but it doesn't appear to work for me. No
matter what integer - binary, hex or decimal - I enter for
main_memory_start I get an error from libgen:

ERROR:MDT - petalinux () - integer value too large to represent
       while executing
   "format "0x%08X" $param_value"

For my XPS 9.2 platform the value is 0x86000000. Any idea what the
problem is?

The Petalinux BSP tools don't yet support the MPMC, however there is a
simple workaround.

Use the main_memory_start and main_memory_size oparameters in the MSS
file (or SW settings), to manually specifiy the start and size of the
memory.

I'm having a look at what's required to get the MPMC support in the next
release of the BSP tools - stay tuned.

Regards,

John
