Hi Jim,

Using ?send text file? in hyperterminal is correct.  I suspect your S-record got truncated.  Make sure the last record (line) of your file starts with ?S7?, ?S8? or ?S9?.  These three types are used to signal the end of the S-record.

Subject: [microblaze-uclinux] using Hyperterminal instead of cKermit

hi,

i have run my Xilinx tools on windows, so when i want to download FS-boot on my board i use hyperterminal instead of ckermit. FS-boot run ok, and i see the message: "FS-BOOT: Waiting for SREC image ...", then i first tried send my uboot-2.6.srec image with the "Send File ..." option but it doesnt work, then i tried the same using the "Send Text File ..." and then it appers download the image, because i see a "spinning wheel" symbol, but when it finished, nothing appers, the message "Image download successful" does not apper, simply appers a "-" symbol and thats all.

first at all, can i use hyperterminal for this??, does anyone has probe download images trough hyperterminal??

thanks

NOTE: i am working with the pre-built designs that come in the hardware directory
