Hi,

This is the 2.4.x kernel config menu

but for me, appers total different options (and is the same "Processor type and features --->" option) : [ ] Preemtible kernel
[ * ] Are you using uncached shadow for RAM?
[ ] Allow allocating large blocks (> 1MB) of memory
         --- Boot options
( ) Default kernel command string
[ ] Force default kernel command string

This is in 2.6

why are so different??, does the last petalinux distribution change??, also in most other menus of kernel settings, i have the same problem, the options are different. When i pass to "Vendor/User settings" menu, i dont have problems, the menus are the same in tutorial and in my computer.

This means the Wiki pag eyou are looking at still referes to 2.4 kernel instructions, but the default is 2.6. Can you please post the URL of the page you are referring to?

Thanks,

John
