RE: [microblaze-uclinux] Ethtool and 2.6 kernel

Hi John,

I forgot to mention I am using the emaclite, 2.6 kernel, edk 9.2,
Spartan3A1800 board.  Here is the message I get:
# ethtool -s eth0 speed 100 duplex half
Cannot get current device settings: Input/output error
  not setting speed
  not setting duplex

Have I forgotten something during kernel config?

Not that I'm aware of - was using ethtool under 2.6 just a week or so
ago.  What are the symptoms, error messages etc?  Which ethernet device?
