HI,

I want to make u-boot without building the whole petalinux tree. Under the directory “petalinux-dist/u-boot”, so I enter:

# make petalogix-microblaze-auto_config

However, I get the error message:

u-boot/board/petalogix/microblaze-auto/config.mk:43: *** You must configure your Petalinux kernel before trying to build u-boot. Stop.

Why can’t I build u-boot from u-boot root directory?
