sorry, no, I said I have problems to debug a kernel with the GUI version, not with the -nw version.

Sorry, I misread your original message.

It should be fine, make sure you select the TCP/IP option in the target settings dialog that comes up when you try to connect. Also, enter locahost:1234 as host and port.

What happens why you try this?  Nothing at all?
