What I would do is to change the ucf file. There, change the rx and tx pins so that they connect the DCE pins instead of the DTE pins.

Hi everyone,

I doing a project for school which involves 
running uClinux on a Spartan-3e board. The problem I'm having is that I only 
have a cable connecter for the DCE port and not for the DTE. So how should I 
proceed in changing DTE to DCE in the hardware design ? Could you help me please 
or point me to the right place on the mailing list where this problem has 
already been discussed.
