RE: [microblaze-uclinux] system freeze when using ftpd



I saw the same issue even though I used hard drive instead of ram disk.
After a few hundred mega bytes, I saw some " page allocation failure".
Eventually the system died.

BTW This is no longer necessary with the patch posted recently for the 
ethernet lite driver.

Sorry for the obvious question, but remember that /tmp is a ramdisk, so 
perhaps you are just filling it and therefore causing an out of memory 
condition (which admittedly is not being handled very well)?

Maybe before the ftp session, open a terminal window via telnet, and 
keep an eye on /proc/meminfo and the reported free memory.
