On further inspection I have found that the RXReject bit is
being set in the TEMAC Interrupt Status Reg. (I have re-enabled the temac
irq and see this bit being set, which I then clear down, for every ping sent to
the device)
I have not yet found out why this is being set – I have
tried various configuration changes – all to no avail:
Disable
Address filter rejection (McstRej, BcstRej)
Enable
promiscuous mode
Enable/Disabled
flow control
Enable/Disable
FCS insertion/stripping
Does anyone know what can cause the Temac RXReject to get
set?
Cheers,
Ian.
