Re: [microblaze-uclinux] Uart lite hanging

Sorry, It was a fault of mine.
I have conducted my tests in an approximate manner.

At first I disabled the linux console on serial line.
Than I unchecked "Enable the UART Interface On OPB" in the opb_mdm debug
module.

I discovered my serial line was closing due to the uart 0 bein shut down
by somebody else, but I could not trace the problem much further.

Is anybody else experiencing this behaviour?
If so, I would be glad if somebody would be so kind to give me some
advices on how to use the first serial line without worrying about the
connection hang up.

As a workaround I added a new serial line (uartlite) as primary and
freely used the other two (ttyS1 and ttyS2) with no apparent problem.
The drawback of this approach is that I cannot reach the fs-boot /
u-boot prompt.

Many thanks,

Giulio Mazzoleni
