To be sure I understand, it fails only when you use the fs-boot you
built? Your u-boot works with the pre-built fs-boot, correct?
It sounds like your fs-boot is recognizing the image in flash, so it
is able to properly read at least the first couple of bytes. You
should be able to step through with the debugger and see what happens
in more detail when it copies the image into ram and jumps into it.
