Re: [microblaze-uclinux] GCC toolchain in latest SVN
Okay, it turns out that this was a problem with my
environment (combined with poor failure info!).
When I started mb-linux-gdb without the $DISPLAY
environment variable set, it crashed, presumably
because it couldn't display the Tk GUI. (Seems
like it should have told me this........) In any case,
once I set the DISPLAY, then it worked fine.
(I had never thought of this---I'm not accustomed to
having gdb built to automatically run with a GUI
enabled!).
Thanks for the replies....hopefully this helps someone
else to avoid this problem!

Any thoughts on this GDB issue?
At what point do you get the memory error? I just fired up current
SVN head mb-linux-gdb and it loads fine, I don't have an MMU platform
booted at the moment but will try to do some debugging with it and get
back to you.
Cheers,
John
