Antwort: Re: Antwort: Re: [microblaze-uclinux] MicroBlaze restarting

Hi Michal,

thanks for your email. I will contact the provider of my opb core to check out that ucf constraints.

Anyway, what if there is an opb conflict due to my new core? could it explain the bad SDRAM behavior??
I should then look into the VHDL code...

kind regards,
Raul Camaras

Hi Raul,

You have to solve problem with sdram first.

U-BOOT need around 256kB of memory for starting. If you have problem with ram,
you can't do test with U-BOOT.

You have to add some constrains to ucf file. Every synthesis, PaR is different
-> every build is different -> every bitstream. You can build it again but I am
not sure if this solve your problem. Addind some constraints to ucf should solve
your problem.
