Ahh, that's new information. I couldn't tell that from the information
that you gave in the patch kit. What about developers who first
applied v2 when it got public - how should they apply v4?
If I understand correctly you have git tree and you want to add
kernel with any patch set version and add it to petalinux
distribution.

or the second choise is that you have patches and you want to create
new git tree with it.
I'm using the petalinux-v0.30-rc1 dist from PetaLogix. As far as I can
see there's no git nor svn in that tar file. I have gathered your
patch kit from the mailing list. Now I'd like to apply the patches. So
I'd say that I go for your "second choise".
Is your git server still off-line?
