[microblaze-uclinux] Compiling in -shared support (Not there in stock petalinux compiler)

I'm trying to add support for shared libraries to petalinux. The stock
compiler that comes with the petalinux distro does not support the
-shared option to gcc.

I have the latest toolchain source for gcc, and can build it. I now
want to build with support for gcc -shared. Anyone know where I need
to put this. I tried passing the -shared option to gcc/configure, but
I think thats a different option (Not for shared libraries).
