hello,
yes, the new uboot can work with spansion flash.
But for time being I am using the uboot that has came along with
petalinux. It is already integrated and works very smoothly. I have
changed flash related files in the older u-boot, and it is working
fine now. I was able to write the configuration data in the flash.
It is not a good idea to use the older version, I will migrate to the
latest uboot.
