[microblaze-uclinux] PetaLogix and JW at Embedded Linux Conference

Hi folks,

Just a heads-up that I'm giving a talk at ELC in San Francisco next month (6-8th April).  The talk discusses the MicroBlaze/Linux platform, and gives a case study of a big project we completed last year that made use of lots of custom hardware, specialised interfaces and rapid system prototyping - basically all the good reasons for doing Linux on an FPGA in the first place.

If you're based in the Bay Area, or are attending ELC, it would be great to catch up and say hi.

If there are enough people interested we could arrange either a small breakout session in a meeting room at the conference, or something less formal at a local watering hole.  I'd really value some face-to-face time with our community to hear opinions about PetaLinux, the platform generally, and what you'd like to see going forward.  This would be a great opportunity to kick start that.

On that note, there are some interesting developments underway here at PetaLogix, about which I will be revealing more in the next month or two as they crystalise.

Hope to see you in SFO - if you will be around please drop me a line at john.williams@xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Cheers,

John
