Agreed. That's why I called it workaround patch.

I just wanted to help those who use SCHED_RR in multi-threaded user apps. Again I've spent some hours here to recognize the hang is the same problem I once had with the kernel 2.4. :-) The thread inversion problem always becomes active when pthread_cancel() is used.

I'm also still waiting that the NPTL lib replaces the pthread lib.
