I understand that you had some problems with uarts but if we want to use uartlite
or uart16550 we had to do changes in BSP. U-BOOT configuration in 0.40 is totally rework.
The only one problem is that you used old designs. We expect that people will use
latest EDK and latest designs.
OK, back to your question.
UART test is there and you should just recompile lib with latest BSP + copy Kconfig.auto to proper
location that's all.
I expect that U-BOOT will be still in distribution and John don't remove it. I'll be against it. :-)
BTW: If you don't like U-BOOT, you can disable it. It is your choice.
