Well, this is interesting... > Petalogix says the only version of Linux that they support (for Xilinx EDK) is the Redhat Enterprise (i.e., commercial) version > Xilinx says the only versions they support are commercial versions from MonteVista or WindRiver. Of course, the version that we are using these days is Ubuntu, which is *not* commercial... that's why we are using it (besides which, it is actively supported and updated). So, what happens if I download the EDK and just install it on Ubuntu (assuming, of course, that it even installs)?? Do they have some mechanism built in to keep us from using free software platforms? Judging from Michal's messages, I *think* the only output that I need from the EDK is kconfig.auto, and I'll need to figure out where to put it for Petalogix to find it. Is this correct?
