Thanks Steven!

Has anybody ever implemented this function flat_core_dump? If not can anybody pass on pointers on how to do it?

Thanks & regards,

If I am using petalinux in a no-mmu environment, I have to work with BFLT binaries (as the 'make menuconfig' won't give me the option of supporting ELF binaries without MMU). In such cases can I have core dump or equivalent for my processes whose binaries are in BFLT format?

The kernel implementation for this is just a stub, even in the mainline
kernel. See flat_core_dump() in fs/binfmt_flat.c.
