1.2Mbyte is a pretty massive allocation - have you maybe added a
custom app in the startup sequence, or enabled every single busybox
option, something like that?

Anyway, also make sure that CONFIG_LARGE_ALLOCS is enabled in your
kernel config.  That is the likely culprit.
