First of all check that IP works under linux - petalinux-jtag-boot
to run the linux kernel and test if IP works or not. This is easy functional
test that your hw is ok.
If not- check timing constrains.
The second choice is to look at xilinx doc and see what the differences are.
You can tried to use petalinux version to check if is work or not.
