Can you be more specific about your setup? I am chasing a memory
corruption problem with the mainline kernel at the moment, maybe if we
pool our observations we can make better progress on it.
I am working with a noMMU build of 2.6.31 + some drivers, etc. from the
Xilinx GIT tree, built with the microblaze-unknown-uclinux-uclibc
toolchain and a local uClibc modified to match the ABI used in the
2.6.31 kernel.
I built the kernel with PAGE_POISONING and DEBUG_SLAB, and see
corruption warnings go by when certain userland applications run. In
some cases the busybox shell used by 'init' just hangs, apparently
looping within its internal heap management code (getcell(),
freearea()).
