[partial-reconfig] multiple modules, one area constraint?

Hi folks,

Can I create a single area constraint to cover most of the device, and 
assign a bunch of modules into that area?  Will the tools just do 
whatever it takes to stuff that part of the design in there?

I'm thinking a microblaze system that is mostly "fixed", with a couple 
of reconfigurable slots.  I don't want to do a detailed floorplan of the 
main microblaze, just define the outer bounds of where it should go..
