RE: [partial-reconfig] Board Survey...
I use a Celoxica RC203 board with a XC2V3000 FPGA.
One of the most important thing you have to take a look before buy a board
for partial reconfiguration is the pin arrangement. Celoxica's board pin
arrangement is adequate for it.

Asunto: [partial-reconfig] Board Survey...
Hi...
I'm on the verge of going for the Memec Virtex-II MB board for my thesis
(yes, strange as it may sound I've been working without a board...
University funding and red tape mainly responsible... ) ...
I was interested in finding out which boards the members of this list
are using (or have used) and might recommend... my requirements are
nothing too fancy... just a straight-forward board which should possess
the selectMAP interface and the ability to function with JBits... I plan
to run the design with and without JBits to observe the pros and cons of
either arrangement...
So far the Memec board mentioned above appears to be the best bet...
Altium does not have a Virtex-II board, and the Celoxica boards are too
much for my requirements... there are other vendors too but they focus
primarily on the high-end market...
Thanks...
Sincerely,
Umar
