You probably already know this, but passing the -l option to bitgen 
generates an ASCII LL (logica allocation) file that identifies the 
position within the bitstream fo the LUT contents and much more:

from `bitgen --help`

  -l            = Create logic allocation file


Definitely worth playing with if bitsniffing is your objective.
