Re: [partial-reconfig] Reg uclinux/microblaze and partial reconf.

Hello Team,

I gave up building a uclinux image for a microblaze until I hear
from you otherwise that I can build one with EDK 6.3 version.

For the time being, I was thinking of building a PPC version and
run linux on it. I cut down a lot of things and now my design
is very lean.
I have the following components 1 PPC, PLB DDR SDRAM (256MB external),
OPBHWICAP, OPB INTC, OPB UARTLITE, OPB SPI EEPROM and some BRAM.
Now with the above design my hardware is ready. But now I am wondering
how to program the device?

Since JTAG is not available, XMD wont work and neither would SYSACE
work. What other programming options do I have? Putting JTAG would
mean I would need to put the second processor too! Which I do not want
to!!!

I have a COMPACT FLASH on board, but one needs to provide
some bootup ROM code, before I could use FLASH. For that purpose
I put in SPI EEPROM, but I dont know how to program this either.
I suspect the EEPROM needs to be external to board and make my EEPROM
talk to the correct pins on the board using the UCF file and route
is accordingly. Is that so?

For accessing the flash do I need to use OPB EMC? Or is it possible
even otherwise?

Please advise. Where can I find more details on this setup?

Thanks
LN
