Hello,
It's ok, in my design I colocate the reconfigurable part in the leftmost
position, and to utilize 2 CLB columns(left) i have to use bit 0 and 1 to
go left to right and the bits 2 and 3 to go right to left.
I don't know exaclty why?.. but if you utilize the bus macro in one
direction, the tool don't work due to routing problems!. Besides that, one
advantage could be you utilize only two CLB columns instead of 4 CLB
columns, this can be useful in some cases where you need area
optimization.
