Re: [partial-reconfig] Simple partial reconfiguration basci system example

Hi,
yes.I'm implementing a reconfiguration system with PPC.
I've just complete the bitsream generation in this way:
- created the PR modules and top-level designs into ISE
- created the main static-design (I mean not reconfigurable part) into ISE
- add a new source:embedded system
- open EDK from ISE and here built my controller with PPC
- then after net-list generator I had all .ngc files to implement the hw by PA
- crated a dir structor as follow: top(include .ngc of top level, .nmc for busmacro, .ucf), stati(inlude all ngc of static-part generated from ISE and EDK), dynamic(all .ngc files of PR module generated through synthesis process from ISE)
- open PA and built floorplanner with static and dynamic pblock
- addd .bmm file generated by EDK : it describe the way to use memory-block of design
- follow the partial-reconfiguration implementation flow of PA

bye
Ely

Hello all,

I would like to know if someone managed to have a simple and basic system, designed under EDK/XPS, that contain something like either a Microblaze or either a PPC and the ICAP ip component. If someone has this system, if he know that it can be handle under PlanAhead and can handle partial reconfiguration (or simpler, can work with ICAP), can he share it to others ?

It would be a really appreciable help for every one of us, that try to do something. It would be a start up point for all.

Many thanks for the personn that will put his system here.

Jean-sébastiel LEROY.
