Well, the point is the partial bitstream works as expected if send
through the JTAG port via iMPACT.
The ICAP should work, as far as I understand, in exactly the same way as
the JTAG port if the same bitstream is send to it. So, if there is no
CRC error when using iMPACT there should be no CRC error if I send the
bitstream through the ICAP, if the system is implemented correctly.
The bitstreams are created with PlanAhead 9.1.2 and ISE 8.1.01_PR_8
following the audio_design application note. The CRC check is enabled in
the partial bitstreams, so I have to modify them in order to disable the
check. The CRC value is also calculated by bitgen.
If I disable the CRC writing the partial bitstream also does not seem to
change the FPGA configuration.
