Hi everyone,
Recently, I make some researches about partial reconfiguration of V4, and find that there are two ICAP Sites(Top and Bottom). But there is only one ICAP in other FPGA chips(eg. V2P).
So I have the question: why V4 supports two ICAP Sites, or What is the advantage of the two ICAP Sites?
In the Virtex-4 FPGA Configuration User Guide (ug071), it says that the two sites cannot be activate at the same time but can be used by switching between them.
So, Is the partial reconfiguration faster by using both of the two ICAP Sites? And why is it faster?
Thank you!
