MedTeQ works in collaboration with some of
Queensland’s world-class clinicians, CSIRO’s national medical image
processing group and the medical materials group at The University of
Washington, USA (UWASH). Our clinical partners are involved in the
development and trial of prototype devices in conjunction with research
staff. For example the cardio-thoracic team at The Prince Charles
Hospital (TCPH) provides clinical input and access to the largest
patient cohort in Queensland. The Mater Hospital Pathology and
Paediatric Sleep Sensor units are also pivotal to our program, one
objective of which is to develop robust screening tools and the
technology to perform such tests remotely.
