Over the years you hear a lot of trivia. Now while this trivia can be interesting the first time, it can get pretty old quite quickly. So to help cleanse society of this blight, I have put together a list of all those phrases that have bugged me over the years. The list will probably be in a continuous state of growth, as I can't at any one time remember all the statements.
Please note that I am not questioning or otherwise the veracity of these statements. I'm sure some are true, some are false, and many are inbetween. For instance, the "tea has more caffeine than coffee" one is definitely a dubious one. I'm just listing these because they are pulled out far too often in everyday conversation.
This has always bugged me - is it "that'll learn you" or "that'll teach you"?
