Prac exercise 8 Week 9:Post Production Sound Exercise "Betty Boop"
Prac exercise 9 Week 10: Visual Effects Post-Production and Burning to DVD
Week 12 is more free form. The tutors may do some formal classes on things everyone needs to know, for example if you need to do a little more on
exporting using compressor. And burning to DVD, which is a separate process.
But for week 12, 17th-21st October, classes will be free form with tutors responding to student enquiries. They will be present everyday until the due date, which is now Monday 24th October.
The tutors will have the course hard drive so you can download your media files onto that. They need to be less than 4 gig. We don't have free access to the labs.
But we will have our regular times on Mondays and Tuesday, except that Tom will not be available for his Tuesday class and throughout week 12.
Wednesday mornings are free and the labs are free in the evenings. You can check the timetable on the door for more information. I have checked with the lecturer and tutor of the classes that are booked in there
on Thursday and Friday sessions and it is fine to work there with our tutors, but their class has priority over computers. Remember to bring headphones to listen to your work to avoid disturbing others when the
lab is not exclusively for our students. There will still be at least 13 computers available on those days. This is the link to the tutors' availability .Tutor Schedule
I am sure you will gather in your usual prac groups, but any of you may consult any of the tutors.
