To view the equipment packs which have the gear needed associated with the cameras
go to Equipment Packs this will make a lot more sense than the list immediately below, which lists everything without
distinction.
To view the equipment database please go to the
ETSG Equipment Pool (Engineering Workshop)
All equipment under Z is for multimedia and may be booked.
However the equipment that is specific to Digital Video Production has a further Y prefix in addition to the Z. Remember to get all
equipment required for your purpose; e.g. when you book a boompole, make sure to book the XLR cable also.
What equipment to book
The above information gives an idea of what is available. Tthe packs of equipment that have been listed together will
allow you to book appropriate gear together. See above to view the Equipment packs.
Notes: Please don't lose the microphone shoes on top of the handycam, as they have to be replaced before the
microphone can be used on top of the camera again. Leave them screwed in.
Tripods Please make sure the baseplate stays with the tripod and doesn't return attached to the camera.
Also, please ensure the screw for the baseplate stays with it, as it, also, is useless if the screw is missing.
Similarly, the above information gives an idea of what equipment will work together,
but the packs will allow you to book a coherent set of gear simply. See Equipment packs above.
