This link provides information about designing your own sensors, it is a chapter extract of a book used in an Engineering Design course.

EZIO Stuff

EZIO Realworld Interfacing with Sensors and Actuators - despite having most examples built in C++, this site covers some interesting projects using the EZIO. Also lists a range of devices that can be used as inputs and outputs on an EZIO.

Simulation: Building Complex Artificial Worlds - the parent site for the link above. Not much about EZIO's but some interesting stuff on visualisation and a heap about C++.
